Meimei blinked. He'd mover so fast, she hadn't been able to see him, even with her abnormal vision. When the old man let go, she immedetly pulled back her wrist, rubbing it. "Have you found anything you like?" he asked. Meimei nodded, running back to what she'd seen. There was the black army-like jacket, a white shirt with lines of sketched-looking owls in tan, then a large purple barnowl that took up the whole left side, a form-fitting cut short jacket with the Cloud village symbol on the front, black jeans, and more suitable sandals. "Is that fine?" she asked, somewhat shy.
She then heard her name called. Meimei spun around, wondering who it was. Another man in a cloak stood behind her. "Uh, um, hello, Mr. Raikage, sir." she blushed.

Hiro looked gave her a surprised look. "It isn't up to me about what you wear. But if it makes you feel better, that's just fine and you they look good on you." Another smile came across his face but unlike the ones before, he genuinely meant it. Taking the clothing from her, Hiro went to pay for it. Setting the things on the counter, there was and old man waiting there. Hiro's eyes moved all over the man, who was just standing there smiling, trying to figure him out. Finally after an awkward silence, the man spoke. "The place really cleared out after your little display hehehe. I must say that that was quite the performance. Your movements were fast and clean, very nice." The man paused to cough. The only people in the store were him and Meimei. The man began to speak again, only louder. "So, are you and that girl out on a date?" Despite the mans size, his voice filled the entire store and made it impossible for Meimei not to hear the question. Hiro just stood there, clothing in his hand and tried to find an answer. "Ummm... n-no, we're not on a date. It's just business." Giving a weak laugh, Hiro hoped that the conversation was over, but the old man wasn't done. "How many people on business by their partner clothes and besides, she is a hot little number." Hiro was finished with this conversation. He gathered the clothing and thanked the man, then went to find Meimei. When he finally saw her, she was with a man dressed in a white robe similar to his own. "Meimei, who is this?"

Meimei had blushed hearing the comment. Oh gawd... she thought, absolutely embarrassed. When he walked back over, he asked, "Meimei, who is this?" Meimei blinked, a bit taken back. "Uh, this is the Raikage." Meimei stepped back from the space between them, still slightly embarassed.

"Your face is red Meimei. Are you hot or something?" Hiro new that the question was stupid, but he could help but embarrass her even more than she already was. Hiro's attention then shifted to the guy standing opposite him and Meimei. "So, you lead this village eh. Why are you hanging around here then old man?" Hiro didn't really care about the reason, he was trying to give Meimei time to calm down and get rid of her red cheeks. Just then, he realized that he was carrying her clothing . "Oh by the way, here is your stuff." He gave her the bag and turned around and left.

The Raikage turned to Meimei. "I had heard there was a small disturbance and I like to check on people from time to time." He smiled warmly at her. He was a kind leader who took care of his people. "Meimei, have you been misbehaving again? Those people you stole from last night wanted to press charges. I got them to drop those charges though, however you're going to have to be by to help the lady carry her groceries next time she shops. Who is this young man you're with? I know most faces in the village, and he's not one I know..."

Meimei glared at her partner, turning even more red. Tunring back to the Raikage she hung her head. "I didn't do nuthin' here this time. The old man thought I was lookin' for a way to his wallet and I was lookin' for clothes. He's just stiff." she mumbled. "Oh, and this is my partner, uh..." Meimei glanced back to him. "Actually, I don't know his name." she confessed. "Oh by the way, here is your stuff." her partner handed her the bag, leaving. "Um, wait!" Meimei tunred back to the raikage, bowing low. "I'll help the lady, I promise, Mr. Raikage. And I'll try to stay out o' trouble!" Meimei waved back, running after Hiro.

Hiro walked slowly so Meimei could catch up to him. When she finally did meet him, he turned his head and looked at her. "You know that red looks good on you, especially on your cheeks. Now, hows about you and me get some food.?" Stopping suddenly, Hiro crossed the street and walked over to a small stand that was selling fruit. Picking up two apples, Hiro walked back across the street and offered one to Meimei. "So where to now?"

Meimei hunched her shoulders. "Will you stop that? Red does not look good on me, and I've never blushed this much in my life, much less in a day." again, her cheeks turned pink. She lifted her head as he left to pick up two apples. He handed one to her. "So where to now?" he asked. Meimei bit into her apple for thought, then, swallowing wiping away the juice, she answered, "There's a park bout half-mile down, but I've never been very far out of this place," Meimei addmitted. "I still don't have a team." she bit down into her appl again.

Hiro looked down at her. He couldn't say that he was completely surprised by this, though it was unexpected. Hiro slowed down and dropped back behind Meimei and gave serious though to what was next to do. "So why don't you have a team? You don't have to answer if you don't want to." He another bite out the apple he was carrying and turned his head to the sky. Dark clouds had now overcome the village and distant flashes meant the storm was about to start. Hiro gave a little blink as a drop of water hit his nose, then another and another, the storm had started. In mere moments, the village streets had become desolate as the people retreated to the safety of their homes. Stopping abruptly, Hiro turned to Meimei. "Hows about we have a little sparing match? You know, just for fun and after all, it's only raining and rain never hurt anyone."

Meimei shrugged. "I dunno. Everyone just left after the chunnin exams. I think our teacher was scared o' me for some reason. He said there's no point in teaching someone who knows everything but won't think. Something like that." She took another bite of her apple, chewing slowly. "Hows about we have a little sparing match?" he asked. Meimei looked up at Hiro. "Sure why not? it could be interesting!" Meimei exclaimed.

Hiro grinned, he need someone to practice on and who better then this girl. "Alrighy then, it's a deal and no backing out. Now, I'm hoping that may clone had gotten my cloak or I might actually have trouble beating you." Off to the side, there was a small alleyway that ran off back back to Meimei's apartment. From down there, Hiro heard a large crash and watched as an exact copy of himself ran out carrying something under his arm. As is came over, one could tell that it was the white cloak that Hiro had been wearing when he first met Meimei. As soon as the clone handed the cloak over, it vanished with a poof and left behind a cloud of smoke. The rain was coming down much heavier now so the cloak came just in the knick of time. Another crash from the alley meant that the second clone had also retrieved its item. This one ran out carrying Meimei's umbrella and, like the other one, gave it to her and vanished with a poof. Turning to face her, Hiro's face now completely covered by the hood began to talk. "The fight will span the entire village but we will start right here. You had better give it a good effort cause if you don't, you'll probably die." Inside the cloak, Hiro made his hand signs and yelled "Kirigakure no Jutsu". As the mists began to cover the area, the fight had begun.

Meimei glanced around herself, checking her surrounding. Sighing, she pulled down her goggles to help her vision. Dangit, it just barely slices through this stupid mist. Meimei crounched low, pulling out two short swords. Thunder rolled in the sky overhead. She quietly formed the hand symbols for her own jutsu, Raikasui. "Good" Meimei smiled, then ran as fast as she could towards the highest point she could think of. Meimei sprinted down the streets, leaving a grid work of invisible lightning behind her. If Hiro stepped on one strand of the lightning, he'd get quite a terrible shock.

Hiro was a master at strategy and adapting it to an ever changing battlefield. He new that he needed to box Meimei in and direct her down the paths and streets he wanted her to go down. Landing several blocks away, Hiro got his first moves ready. Extending both arms out to his sides, Hiro lobbed to kunai into the walls of the adjacent building. Attached to these kunai were thin but very strong wires with explosive notes on them. If anyone ran into one, it would explode and kill them instantly. Hearing foots steps approach, Hiro started to speak loud enough that Meimei could hear. "I guess I have kept you in the dark long enough, eh Meimei. My name is Hiro." He was aware that she would use this to locate him and this was what he was hoping for. Since he was behind the wire, which would be invisible to even Meimei's eyes, he new he was safe for the moment. All he needed to to was wait.

Meimei stopped dead. Wait, why is he calling out? He's giving himself away! Something doesn't feel right she thought nervously. She breathed in, calming herself. Think, Meimei. You've got a brain, so use it. You've got a 190 IQ, you should try something!! she scolded herself. Okay, let's try this. Meimei put her hand against the wall of the building next to her, sending out a line of chakra-like electricity that reached out about a meter in each direction. She walked slowly towards where she'd heard Hiro's voice. Down here, I'm pretty sure Just then, her electric field sent her a nudge, telling Meimei there was something in front of her. And that's when she saw it. The line of explosives. "Oh crap," Meimei whispered, just at the last second throwing her arms up in front of herself and tucking into a human ball to protect herself the best she could.

Hiro watched from behind the wire, slightly confused about what she was doing. "Meimei there I something I want you to know. You remember when I placed the kunai to that old mans neck and how fast I moved? The truth is that I can move faster than that. You see, I have sixty pound weights on both legs, arms and the torso. In all reality I can move about five times faster than I did back there." With a poof, Hiro's clone vanished leaving the area silent.
Meimei was still curled up in her ball when the real Hiro walked out of the mist and came up from in front of her. Drawing a kunai from his cloak he walked over and bent down, placing the kunai to her throat. "Not bad kiddo, not bad at all. You are more than just a pretty face." Hiro knelt there and gave a short chuckle. "You reflexes aren't bad but had you looked a little closer, you would have seen that these are pressure sensitive, not time delay."
